The Spring must come again

In the spring the blossoms are bright, a fluttering snow of pink and white,
And then the summer comes marching in, with it’s burning sun on my fragile skin,

You are

You are enough for me,

You are the air I breathe,

You are the joy in my heart,

I have a hope

You come to me, with tears in your eyes,
Pain written all over your face.
You say you just, fon’t know what to do,
That you feel like your sinking into despair.
And I know exactly what you mean,
Sometimes things happen,
That make our worlds fall apart,
But the difference is.

I have a hope, in one who is bigger and stronger than me,
He gives me strength when I’m failing and weak,
He lifts me from despair, He carries me when I cannot walk,
And I have a hope in a God who is loving and kind,
Full of forgiveness, mercy and Grace,
And I pray that you could also know,
That you too can have this hope.

So turn to him, to the one that provides,
To the one who can restore your life,
His arms are open wide for you,
Ready to embrace his child,
So don’t be afraid, You can be saved by his grace,
Now allow him to revive your hope.

Without you

I’m feeling low and down, I’m feeling insecure,
Today I’ve let my worries drag me down,
I’ve been staring at my problems far too long,
That they feel far too big for me,

Then I realise, then I understand,
I’ve been trying to do it on my own,
So I fall down on my knees,
And turn my eyes to you,
And say Lord please strengthen me,

Without you I fall, But with you I stand tall,
Without you I am weak, But with you I am strong,
Without you I am lost, But with you I am found,
Without you I’m alone, But with you
I’m surrounded by your love,

Breathing

I was struggling along,
Feeling faint and weary,
I felt weighed down by the world,
Overwhelmed by my problems,

Grace of God

There’ll be times in your life, Where situations arise,
And you don’t know what to say, What to do , or how to act.
But no matter what comes your way, There is something ,That will always remain the same, And that’s the love of God,
So here are some words of advice for you,

Step 1 remember the grace of God,
Step 2 try to walk in his love
Step 3 think of the mercies he’s shown, now show them too.
Step 4 listen to the voice of truth,
Step 5 thank him for the gift of life,
Step 6 find your strength in him alone,
Step 7 learn to rest in his embrace.
Oh, Oh, you don’t have to do it on your own,
Oh, Oh, for he’s the one who’ll bear your heavy load,
Give you peace alone,   Oh

And when your feeling down, And you just don’t know
How to get it right anymore, Remember you are not alone
But no matter what comes your way, There is something ,

Til the morning comes

My heart is breaking but I will come to you,
My soul is aching but I will trust in you,
For in the darkest night, You’re there right by my side,
And you help me to see that there will be light as the morning comes,

Help me stand strong as the rain beats down, And help me hope in you,
Help me walk through the fiercest storm,
Knowing that I am safe in your arms, And that the morning will comes,

My steps are weary but I will follow you,
My dreams feel shattered, but I will hope in you

Be Still

Take a moment, when life’s so busy,
Just to rest, Just to be,
It’s important, to slow down sometimes,

And feel my peace, in the wind, blowing gently through the trees,
And see my beauty, in the blossoms that are so pretty and fragrant in the spring,
And know my joy, through the laughter of a little child, as I your father smile on you,

It’s so easy, to try and run on empty,
But please listen to my voice of truth,

Please learn to rest in my embrace.

Journey On

We are on a journey, from our first breath, to our final hour,
We all have choices, on which path to take.
And in our lives, there are seasons we go through,
The fragrant spring, to those cold winter nights,

But journey on through the storm,
Through the rain and through the rolling thunder,
Until that day when he calls you home,
And journey on even when,
The waves are crashing all around you,
He will lead you on.

And there’ll be days when your heart overflows with rivers of joy,
And everything is going well.
And there will be days when the tears feel like they’re never ending,
And your heart can’t bear the pain.

Til that day when he calls you home,
And a shout of joy echoes around,
Til that day when you finally hear,
Good and faithful servant you are home.

He will lead you on.

Choose to worship

I come as I am and choose to worship You,
In sorrow and in joy, I choose to worship You,

Rock and Salvation

Just to be in your presence.

Out of the Ashes

I come before Your throne

My grace covers you

My child why are you trying to run away from me,
I know you have heard of my grace and mercy,
I see you want to believe,
But when you get down on your knees to pray,
I feel you’re terrified that I will turn away,
But child my grace covers you.

Your Glory

Your glory shines like the sun on a new dawning day,
Your glory is like the rainbow after the pouring the rain,
There’s a new hope, a new joy, Your mercies are new each day,
I will come to you in reverence, for You are my God.

And I will praise You in the darkest night, When there is only pain and suffering,

Just as you are

Sometimes I think it’s all about the things that I do,
I spend my time in desperate need, trying to prove myself to You,
I try to find my worth in the deeds that I do,
It’s then when I fail I remember to look to You

And you say “Child I love you, just as you are,
In strength and in weakness my love will set you free
When you’re lying there all alone in your room, With no energy to speak,
I love you just the same, yes in Me, you are complete.”

And there were times lying there I had no strength to move,
I had to learn to trust completely in You,
To believe that You loved me in my helpless state,
To know that I was precious and loved by You.
